Chronic pain that has not responded to the usual care.
SSMC treats pain that has not responded well to medication, physiotherapy, or conservative care. If pain has lasted more than a few months and is limiting your life, we can help identify the cause and treat it.

Not sure whether your pain fits?
Most patients arrive with a body part that hurts, not a diagnosis. That is the right starting point. Bring whatever imaging and reports you have, and the first consultation will work out where the pain is coming from and whether a targeted procedure is likely to help.
How the conditions map to treatment
- Facet joint pain: medial branch blocks or facet joint injection
- Radicular pain and stenosis: epidural steroid injection
- Sacroiliac pain: SI joint injection
- Knee osteoarthritis: genicular nerve block, joint injection
- CRPS and sympathetic pain: stellate ganglion or lumbar sympathetic block
- Occipital neuralgia and migraine: occipital nerve block, Botox
